Before you start

What do I need before installing?

• Your username and password — from a paid plan or the free trial
• An internet connection of roughly 15 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps or more for 4K
• The device you intend to watch on, connected to that network

That is genuinely all. There is no hardware to buy and nothing to modify on your device.

How do I install TereaTV IPTV on a Fire Stick?

This is the most common setup, and the one most people arrive here for. The Downloader code is 346867.

1. Allow apps from unknown sources

   On your Fire Stick go to Settings, then My Fire TV, then Developer options, and turn on Apps from Unknown Sources.

2. Install the Downloader app

   Search for Downloader in the Fire TV search box and install it. It is a free app from the Amazon store.

3. Enter code 346867

   Open Downloader, go to the Browse tab, type 346867 and press Go. The installer downloads.

4. Install and open

   Choose Install when prompted, then Open. Delete the downloaded file when Downloader offers — it is no longer needed.

5. Sign in

   Enter the username and password issued with your subscription or trial. The channel list loads and you are watching.

How do I install it on Android TV or an Android box?

1. Open Downloader or a browser

   Android TV boxes and Google TV devices both support the Downloader app. Install it from the Play Store.

2. Enter the code

   Type 346867 in Downloader and confirm. Allow the install when Android asks.

3. Sign in

   Enter your credentials. On a phone or tablet the same app works — install it the same way.

How do I set it up on a Samsung or LG Smart TV?

1. Install an IPTV player

   Open your television's own app store and install a compatible IPTV player.

2. Add your account

   Choose to add a playlist or portal, then enter the details issued with your subscription.

3. Let the list load

   The first load takes a minute while the channel list and guide download. After that it is instant.

If your television is older and its store is limited, an inexpensive Fire Stick plugged into an HDMI port is usually the easier path.

How do I watch on iPhone, iPad or Apple TV?

1. Install a player from the App Store

   Any standard IPTV player app will work.

2. Add the playlist

   Enter the details you were sent, or paste the playlist URL if one was provided.

3. Play

   AirPlay to a television works normally from here.

Can I watch on Windows or Mac?

Yes. Install a desktop IPTV player, or open your playlist URL directly in VLC through Media → Open Network Stream. This is also the quickest way to check whether an issue is the service or the device, because a laptop on a wired connection removes most variables.

What about MAG and Formuler boxes?

These use a portal address instead of an app install. Go to Settings, then System Settings, then Servers, then Portals, and enter the portal address issued with your account. Reboot the box and the list loads.

Why is my TereaTV IPTV buffering, and how do I fix it?

Work through this in order — it resolves the large majority of cases:

1. Check the speed on that device

   Run a speed test on the streaming device, not your phone. A Fire Stick on weak Wi-Fi can be far slower than the rest of the house.

2. Move to 5GHz or ethernet

   2.4GHz Wi-Fi is crowded in most neighbourhoods. A wired adapter on a Fire Stick makes a bigger difference than any setting.

3. Clear the app cache and restart

   Then reboot the device itself. Long-running streaming sticks accumulate problems that a restart clears.

4. Try a second device

   If it buffers everywhere, the issue is upstream. If it buffers on one device only, the device is the problem.

5. Contact support

   Open live chat with the channel name and the time it happened.
